Programmed fuel injection
With a 34mm throttle body, 12-hole injector, and an oxygen sensor, the Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) promptly adjusts fuel mapping to ensure smooth operation, lower emissions, and enhanced fuel efficiency.
Semi-dry-sump engine design
The overhead-valve, semi-dry-sump design creates a compact and lightweight engine that improves handling by lowering the center of gravity and increasing ground clearance.
Torque-biasing front differential
Available on the 4×4 trims, you can choose between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. A torque-biasing front differential helps enhance traction, especially in challenging conditions such as mud and snow.
Disc front brakes
The Rancher, Rancher 4×4, and Rancher 4×4 Automatic DCT EPS trims are equipped with disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear, providing reliable stopping power in all conditions.

We’ve equipped the Rancher 4×4 Automatic DCT IRS EPS with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) and disc brakes on both the front and rear, further enhancing stopping performance.
Independent Rear Suspension (IRS)
The IRS model features over 8 inches of suspension travel and 9 inches of ground clearance, which enhances tire contact for improved traction and provides a smoother ride over rough terrain.
Electric Power Steering (EPS)
Available on both EPS models, our Electric Power Steering (EPS) is both speed- and torque-sensitive, reducing steering effort and kickback through the handlebar. This is a big help when riding through rugged terrain like ruts, rocks, and other challenging environments.
