Special camshaft timing
The engine’s distinct power pulse stems from individual camshaft profiles and cylinder-specific ignition timing, optimizing power delivery across the entire rpm range, which is significantly higher than the competition.
Biaxial counterbalance
Honda’s engineers can fine-tune the engine’s primary and coupling vibrations by using counterbalancing elements on two axes. The result: a solid-mounted engine for superior strength and handling without vibration.
Unicam engine design

270-degree-phase-crank
